Welcome to my site! I have designed it for you to explore and enjoy, so make yourself a brew, take time and have a wander around.
I am a third generation seamstress and have been sewing since I was a little girl, fully encouraged and guided by my Mum who learnt from her Mum. Now my designs are sold internationally to brides, theatres, museums, burlesque dancers, re-enactors, and women everywhere who want to feel special.
All the garments are made by my fair hands here in Great Britain at my home studio in South Northamptonshire.
My love of the historical came from my enjoyment of literature and the escapism to a more romantic time. I try to capture that romance in all my designs. I am quite a visual person so Pinterest is always a great place to see what is inspiring me or to browse the galleries on my site.
My father has always taught me to put love & care into all I do and my mother has always taught me to make the inside as good as the outside, I'm sure she didn't just mean sewing.
What I Do
Corsetry
Corsetry is where artistry & construction meet; subtly accentuating & celebrating the female form. I specialise in historical construction techniques using my skill and research in my authentic pieces to my contemporary designs. Traditional corsetry techniques and materials are used to suit the era of corset you need. Pieces start from £160.
Bridal Couture
The luxury of couture means using the most sumptuous fabrics & adornment, teamed with the finest sewing & design. I offer an experience to create a bridal gown or lingerie that is truly yours. Couture gowns start from £1800.
How I Work
Remote Service
My Clients are a truly international bunch & I take great pride in sending my work far & wide. I am able to offer this remote service on certain items because of my years of experience; understanding fit, shaping and the intricacies of my garments to ensure a bespoke fit.
Contact me to discuss your requirements. From there I supply you with all the details for measuring yourself and I can guide you through this with a video call, a toile may be needed to check fit, then after a bit of magic a beautiful creation will be heading your way.
Bespoke Service
By appointment only I offer the luxury to take time, to share & collaboratively design your vision, visiting me in my South Northamptonshire home. You will be assured a warm welcome in a relaxed environment where you can pore over the most luxurious fabrics.

My grandparents Charles and Doris just after WWII. My Nan was a talented seamstress and made dresses for my Mum just from a description. During the war she made planes; many seamstresses did as they could follow construction patterns.
